Trip Overview
There are so many spectacular things to see and do in Southern Utah... but most tours focus on the most famous sites, the "must see"'s. Now is the time to take off your newbie tourist hat and start exploring some of those hidden gems that won't make up a first-timer's agenda. Catch the 5th - and least visited - national park of Utah's Mighty Five, Capitol Reef. Visit Cathedral Gorge in Nevada, hike through rivers and slot canyons to Kanarra Falls, and visit Escalante National Monument. Go sand sledding at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and enjoy a rugged hummer ride to Toquerville Falls. Enjoy a night of glamping and roasting marshmallows around a campfire. If you've done our Utah Classic or Utah 2.0... you'll love this next adventure!

Day 4
Day 5
Meet up at the Las Vegas International airport and head straight to our base in southwestern Utah. You will start the trip off with a rush of adrenaline... a hummer adventure to Toquerville Falls, where after an exciting off-road excursion, you can choose to jump into and cool off in the pools below the falls. Enjoy sunset in the desert before heading back to your home to get a well-earned rest.
Our 2nd day of the trip, you start with an incredible - though challenging - hike to Kanarra Falls. Part of this hike is done on land, and part by wading through streams, into slot canyons, over boulders and to the 2 waterfalls. Be prepared to be wet, cold, and absolutely exhilarated! From Kanarra Falls you will head to Cathedral Gorge State Park in Nevada, where you will hike through unique canyon landscapes and really interesting erosion features. If the skies remain clear, there will be some awesome stargazing in this dark sky haven.
Today you head towards the Kanab area. You will visit Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and sled down large sand dunes. You will climb into the Moqui Caves for a unique view of Kanab and the surrounding areas, and then you'll hike to see 1000 year old Native American petroglyphs. If there is time, the trip will head home through the east entrance to Zion National Park.
On day 4 you are going to pack your bags and head East. En route to Capitol Reef, you will spend the day in Escalante National Monument, a vast, remote and rugged area of Utah that is lesser visited with dramatic landscapes and beautiful slot canyons. You'll do some of the more easily accessible hikes (most require AWD!) and then we cap off your day with a glamping adventure in covered wagons. Warm up as you roast marshmallows around a fire, gaze up at the stars, and experience a night outdoors with all the comforts of a hotel.
Wake up at dawn to the sounds and beauty of sunrise. You will spend the final morning hiking and exploring Utah's 5th - and final - national park, Capitol Reef. It is based around the Waterpocket Fold, a nearly 100-mile long geologic wrinkle in the earth's crust. The park features natural bridges, canyons and cliffs, as well as a historic district with fruit orchards and lush grassy knolls. At last, you will head north towards Salt Lake City where you will enjoy a hot dinner from Yallah kosher food truck before heading to the SLC airport for your flights home.
